Dani dah 8 bulan. Dia memang dah mula standing against the couch and started sliding along it when he's 7 months old. After this he'll start walking and running, leaving babyhood behind. Sekejap jer dah nak besar.. rasa cam baru jer bersalinkan dia... Your child's first baby steps are his first major move toward independence, agree?
Talk about baby ni, let me tell you something (hasil pembacaan di internet tentang pembesaran / babies development ni la..) during his first year, your baby is busy developing coordination and muscle strength throughout his body. Dia akan belajar cemana nak duduk, meniarap dan merangkak sebelum mula pulling up and standing at about 8 months. From then on it's a matter of gaining confidence and balance. Most babies take their first steps some time between 9 and 12 months and are walking well by the time they're 14 or 15 months old. Don't worry if your child takes a little longer, though. Kajian mendapati kebanyakan kanak2 normal x berjalan sehinggalah mereka berumur 16 or 17 bulan.
Kaki baby anda x strong enough to support him yet, but if you hold him upright under his arms, he'll dangle his legs down and push against a hard surface with his feet, almost as if he's walking. Cer try.. cer try... hehehe.. Dani memang suka kalau bab ni. This is a reflexive action, and your baby will only do it for a couple of months.
By the time baby about 5 months old, dia akan mula bounce up and down if you let him balance his feet on your thighs. Bouncing will be a favorite activity over the next couple of months, in fact, as your baby's leg muscles continue to develop while he masters rolling over, sitting, and crawling. But my little Dani jarang melompat. Malas sket ler... malas cam sapa?? hehehe... abang ngah kata cam abang2 dier... hehe.. baguus.. nasib baik ngaku.
Menurut kajian, at about 8 months (Dani la ni.. dia dah 8 bulan) baby will probably start trying to pull himself up to a stand while holding onto furniture (hmm... Dani start awal sket la kot.. dia buat ni masa 7 bulan so make sure semua yang berada di laluan dia tu sturdy enough to support your baby). Cuba you all tolong baby by propping him up next to the sofa, he'll hang on for dear life! Betul!
After a couple of weeks mastering this standing position, baby akan mula cruise, moving from one piece of furniture to the next for support. This is what Dani is doing... can't leave him alone..He even able to let go and stand without support when he's bz doing something like experimenting on some objects/toys on the coffee table. Tapi kalau suruh dia berdiri, dia x nak! malas la tu.... Dari hasil pembacaan di internet, katanya.. once he can do that, he may be able to take steps when held in a walking position, or even scoop up a toy from a standing position.
Bila umur baby dah 9 atau 10 bulan, baby akan mula figure out cemana nak bend his knees and how to sit after standing (which is harder than we might think!).
Bila baby dah 11 months pulak, baby mungkin dah mastered standing solo, stooping, and squatting. He may even walk while gripping your hand, though he probably won't take his first steps alone for at least a few more weeks. Most children make those early strides on tiptoe with their feet turned outward. Time ni la pinggang kita mula rasa nak patah sebab dia mula nak berjalan.
At 13 months, kebanyakan baby dah mula berjalan sendiri tanpa bantuan walaupun x berapa steady. Dia takkan nak orang pegang dia. If yours still hasn't stopped cruising, it just means walking on his own is going to take a little longer. It's ok... let him take his own sweet time ok! Don't worry... don't panic... just be happy :P...
X sabar nak tengok Dani jalan.... but your life will change totally when your baby start walking...
So, apa peranan kita bila baby kita mula nak berjalan?
Bila baby mula belajar berdiri, he may need some help figuring out how to get back down again. If he gets stuck and cries for you, don't just pick him up and plop him down. Show him how to bend his knees so he can sit down without toppling over, and let him give it a try himself. Quality time with your baby... kan ! kan !
Kita boleh galakkan baby kita untuk mula berjalan by standing or kneeling in front of him and holding out your hands (bersedialah untuk sakit pinggang dan kepala lutut... hihi). Atau boleh juga pegang kedua tangannya dan walk him toward you.
Kebanyakan doktor discourage using baby-walkers. Wanna know why? Because they make it so easy for your child to get around, walkers can prevent his upper leg muscles from developing correctly. And because they make it possible for your child to reach hot items or poisons that he wouldn't normally be able to get to, they aren't safe. Hmm... tapi susah sket kalau x de walker. X leh buat keje lain la jawabnya. At least kalau dia dalam walker, I know that he's safe... coz kalau x dia memang akan mula merayap dalam bilik, masuk almari (dia pandai bukak almari tau!), masuk bawah katil, panjat tangga... oh! x boleh! x boleh! melainkan kalau ada orang lain yg leh tolong tengokkan dia atau kalau ada orang lain yg boleh buatkan kerja untuk kita... hehehehe... then i'll let him out of the walker.
Kebanyakan mothers suka kasi baby pakai kasut ... memang comel .. tapi memadai pakai stokin jer sebenarnya... so, bila leh pakai kasut nih? kasut dah la comel2 kan! start introducing shoes when your baby is walking around outside or on rough or cold surfaces regularly. Going barefoot helps improve balance and coordination.
As always, make sure your baby has a soft, safe environment in which to hone his new skills. Never leave your baby unattended!
Don't fret if your child is simply taking his time, but if your child seems to be lagging behind significantly, bring it up with his doctor. Keep in mind that babies have different timetables, and premature babies may reach this and other milestones later than their peers.
Semoga facts di atas dpt memberi manfaat kepada kita semua especially to all mothers and mothers to be...
